Want to join an informative, helpful & necessary after-school program? If you’re over the age of 15 and needing to learn how to drive a car, Mr. Almonte is teaching this year’s Drivers Education Course on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 pm. Drivers Education was built with the intent of providing you with the knowledge and skills needed for vehicle safety as both a driver and pedestrian.
Drivers Education studies is organized by the 21st Century Community Learning Center that is a federal funding source dedicated exclusively to support local after school, before-school and summer learning programs. It teaches students how to safety operate a vehicle on busy interstates, at night, and during other dangerous driving circumstances.
The course is meant to thoroughly cover each state’s traffic laws, as well as help new drivers learn the skills that are essential to the safe operation of a car – skills that may help a driver maneuver his or her way out of an accident.
If you’d like to sign up, please see Mr. Almonte in Room 2210.
