CLASS OF 2019 BEGINS TO DECLARE

Stay tuned to this story, as the outstanding seniors in the Wisdom High School Class of 2019 begin to declare their plans, and accept scholarship offers to attend college. We will update this story with further student decisions, as we approach Houston ISD’s Signing Day ceremony on May 1.

April 16: Wisdom’s Dynamic Duo – twin sisters Jenifer and Stefany Fabian Dubon – have announced that they will both be attending Bryn Mawr College, a Women’s Liberal Arts program in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The twins were both POSSE Foundation Finalists this year and both are members of the outstanding Wisdom JROTC program. Jenifer was chosen to compete for a POSSE spot at Bryn Mawr, while Stefany competed for entry into Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

But, after a lengthy process, the sisters will remain together. Both students are in the Wisdom Top 5% of graduating seniors, and each of them have earned a full ride to Bryn Mawr with scholarships totaling $608,000 for the next four years.

If you are a current junior and interested in being nominated for the POSSE Scholars program for the Class of 2020, please see Mrs. Smith-Davis for more information in the registration/counselor’s office.
