Wisdom’s UIL Math Team Continues its March to The Top

This past Saturday, the Wisdom High School Mathematics team traveled 50 minutes north towards Humble to compete in the Atascocita High School TMSCA tournament. The mathematics team did very well placing 3rd in overall sweepstakes, 2nd place Number Sense Team, 3rd place Mathematics Team, and 3rd place Calculator Applications Team. A stand out student was Junior, Aaron Ni, who placed 1st in Mathematics with a score of 272 – 60 points above 2nd place and 3rd place for Calculator Applications and Number Sense.

The Debate Team competed at  James Madison High School where they participated in a HUDL tournament. Daniya Nadeem placed 3rd overall and added on to her team leader medal count. This team was led by seniors Daniya Nadeem, Faqiha Noorin and their team manager, Humera Amin. The juniors consisted of Ammara Dagha and sophomores Nate Gizaw and Ken Nails, along with Freshman Ashenafi Adego.


The UIL team is preparing for the next UIL competition, they keep in mind our school and dedicate their efforts to carrying our school’s name everywhere they travel. Go Wisdom Generals!
