Ever since the construction started on our new campus, Wisdom High School has had a staff parking lot problem, due to the fact that the lot does not have enough parking spaces for all teachers and administrators to park in.
It has caused many people to park illegally by double parking in areas that are meant to be for cars and buses to move around.
This predicament has created a major issue for the Special Ed school buses when they come through the gate. The reason is that buses have had a hard time turning and making it into position to pick up the students, so that they can go home on time.
The cause of illegal or double parking is due to the staff parking lot only having 93 spots, and we have 140 teachers & faculty members,” said Mr. Mata. “Try to get here as early as possible, and if you are late and the lot is full, staff should park across Unity street in the student lot.”
This issue should be alleviated once the new facility is built. “At the new school, we hope to have assigned parking spots for all staff members, and there should not be a problem.”
