Generals, are you hungry? HISD Nutrition Services started its pop-up restaurant tour at Northside High School, giving students a new way to eat lunch. The pop-up restaurant tour is visiting 18 high schools, one of those being Wisdom. The service provides food outside the cafeteria, allowing kids to enjoy a new approach to school meals. The best part is that it’s free! The menu offers foods related to a street-taco flair, where students can order shredded-turkey asada or beef-carnita tacos with onions, cilantro, and grilled pineapple. For sides, they can load up on cilantro lime rice, roasted corn and charro beans, and garnish them with guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Mixed fruit and agua fresca complete the meal.

Now this is something to taco bout!
