Chuma & the Lady Generals are Hoopin’ to Win

Pascaline Chuma is a member of the Girls Varsity Basketball team. Chuma has been working hard to improve herself as a basketball player. She has great anticipations for her team and their upcoming games. “I think we’re going to do better,” said Chuma. “We practiced over the winter break, and even though some of the players didn’t make it to all of the practices, they have been going to the park practicing hard.”
With the start of a new year, Chuma strives to win. “We want to start 2017 with a “W.” We want to show our Coach that we haven’t been sleeping during the break, but working on our skills.” Chuma has faith in herself and thinks she is going to do really good during the games.
“I always try my best in all the games. My brother has helped me a lot during the break, and I felt a change in my abilities. I want to apply what I’ve learned on the court. How players practice is how they play,” said Chuma.
The girls will be taking on Milby and Furr this week, looking for that ultimate victory!
