Coach Fidel Andrade is in his first year of teaching Spanish here at Wisdom High School, but he happens to be very familiar with the halls of this building. Andrade is a 2005 graduate of Lee High School, and was a member of the famous Generals Soccer Team. Now, he is the head coach, and has been for six years. He is most excited about being a teacher here at his alma mater, after having spent the last few years teaching at Jane Long Academy.
After graduating from Lee, he joined the Army, where he served five years active duty, and five years in the reserve. “I like it here, I like the students, and I just really like the environment,” said Andrade. “This is where I am needed, where students need me, and where I hope to make a difference.”
Coach is excited about his soccer team as well, as he looks to put together another winning season, and defend the Generals’ three straight district titles.
