All of the lamps were created by students.

Ms. Greene teaches Principles of Manufacturing and Principles of Architecture and Construction in room 309, where her students perform hands-on tasks that deal with math, science, ELA and social studies. Her lessons and plans relate to students daily activities. Students work to manufacture products that can improve the quality of life, while earning wages that can maintain a successful family life.

Students are currently working on building lamps, some big, small, and colorful. They have now begun building tables to place their lamps on. “I love teaching and seeing my students make their first creation,” said Ms. Greene. “It’s very rewarding to me.”
