First Six weeks grading period: The FEMALE ATHLETE with Highest GPA was Volleyball player ELEEDA REYNA and the MALE ATHLETE with the highest GPA was Football player DUGLAS HERNANDEZ. The TEAM with 100% Eligibility was the Varsity Volleyball Team. These Athletes have earned FREE PIZZA from HOT TOPPINGS PIZZA, located on Westheimer!

Cross County Captain, Junior Imnet Petro advanced to the 5A Regional Meet with a 3rd place finish at the Houston ISD DISTRICT MEET. Way to go, Imnet!

Coach Dunn discusses the Varsity Volleyball Season to this point:

On the last volleyball game; a loss to Austin: “The Lady Generals had a slow start in the first set, but the girls rallied and ended up falling short. They were able to come back and win the 3rd set, but we had some minor errors in game.”

On how the team is doing: “I am very positive about the continued growth of this team. The girls are working hard and improving individually.”

On the team’s standing in district play: “The team is currently in 8th place in district with a 1-10 record. We will not be making the playoffs this year, but I am positive we will make a run at it next year.”
